We are seeking a qualified Entry Level Construction Engineer for NCDPW Projects in Nassau County, NY. Come join our team! Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Extensive experience with MS Office Suite applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff
- Ability to work nights
- Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of concret and asphalt pavement materials and construction methods preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for construction inspection of major roadway rehabilitation projects
- Monitor and track project schedule and budget
- Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
- Track work progess through daily field reports and photographs
