Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in commercial construction project coordination or project management (mechanical construction experience preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems and installation processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the mechanical construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.
  • Assist in coordinating HVAC and plumbing installations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and commercial construction documents.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project managers, field teams, and clients.
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to resolve project challenges and maintain productivity.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Help ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, and turnover packages.
