About The Position
Multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Department Manager to their Milwaukee team! This role involves managing the Construction Services Department, working directly with clients and contractors, assisting with project design, managing and mentoring staff, and serving as a project manager on complex projects. The position also requires preparing proposals and contracts, monitoring progress, reviewing pay requests, and traveling to job sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in construction or municipal engineering
- Experience in construction management of municipal/public improvement projects (water mains, wastewater mains, and roadways)
- Experience in interpreting plans, specifications, technical procedures and governmental regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- PE License preferred
Responsibilities
