About The Position

We are currently seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Crew Members. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting construction projects by performing a variety of manual labor tasks. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Successful candidates will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must Reside in Jim Wells County
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with construction tools and equipment.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous labor, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to attendance and punctuality.
Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Set up and dismantle temporary structures, including scaffolding, barricades, and fencing.
Perform demolition, excavation, and site-clearing tasks under the direction of skilled tradespeople.
Assist with digging trenches, pouring concrete, and installing drainage systems.
Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
Operate hand and power tools such as shovels, hammers, saws, and drills under supervision.
Follow all company and job site safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
