About The Position

ProSidian seeks a Construction Coordinator III | Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) for Program Support on an Exempt Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina). This is a Contract Contingent role, generally located across the Aiken, South Carolina and Across The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region, supporting a High-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance. The language for this role is English. The Construction Coordinator III | Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) [L00429] is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Senior Project Manager. This role shall be principally focused on ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) Solutions and Services. We seek Construction Coordinator III candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional role; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The role provides services and support as a Construction Coordinator III aligned with the Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. This role focuses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contract 89303322DEM000068, generally located in Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region. The Construction Coordinator III provides Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that supports construction coordination activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support. The role connects Project, Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams to move awarded work safely from execution through turnover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, technical or science disciplines, construction or Project Management and 3+ years of related experience OR; Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical discipline and 4+ years of related experience OR; Associate’s degree and 5+ years of related experience OR; A high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of related experience
  • Primarily focused on Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities Construction Coordination (ConsCoord) Functional Area Activities.

  • Knowledge of general or specific safety, environmental, regulatory, safeguards, security, emergency preparedness programs, policies, practices and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of schedules and schedule integration including support resources required to accomplish tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of Waste Removal & Tank Closure and/or Capital Project guidelines related to cost, scope, schedule and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix organization and coordinating activities with multiple stakeholders to include internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Radiological worker trained.

Responsibilities

  • Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition.
  • Represents construction as point of contact for coordination and interface with operations, radiological control, maintenance and other facility support organizations.
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers and works with other facility groups and departments including mid/upper management.
  • Regular Interface with Assistant Project Construction Manager (APCM) and Superintendents to determine schedules and budgets for all current and upcoming scope of work.
  • Coordinates and completes field walk downs to verify construction progress and non-technical completion of activities as identified on schedules and Project scope documents.
  • Coordinates and participates in construction schedule development meetings to obtain understanding and knowledge of execution activities, schedule logic, durations, and interface requirements with external departments.
  • Maintains a comprehensive awareness of scheduled Project work, required interface with external work groups and Project support organizations to ensure no constraints to construction activities.
  • Represents the construction team in status, integration or other meetings related to assigned work scopes.
  • Comprehends and follows ISMS work steps (Scope, Analyze Hazards, Identify Controls, Perform Work, Feedback).
  • Stays current on changing work practices and policies.
  • Ensures that work performed is being done according to technical work documents, and according to safety standards with support from construction Engineering and Craft Supervision.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to provide input to integrating Project schedule activities into the facility scheduling programs (i.e. POW, lock-in and long range planning).
  • Conducts and participates in multiple Project safety and work planning meetings to confirm schedule activities, logic and durations have been properly defined.
  • Exercises control to implement changes necessary to ensure timely input of all data.
  • Routinely reviews schedules and milestone commitments to ensure progress supports on-time completion and identifies potential impacts and risk to Project performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinates the construction execution and interface of ongoing Project work.
  • Serves as liaison between Project management, Project team, and construction management to coordinate the execution of work.
  • Scope includes awarded Project work from execution through turnover to customer.
