About The Position

The DRC Construction & Compliance Inspector will work as a member of the team at the Suncadia Community Association. With consistency and efficiency, the inspector will complete inspections of all construction jobsites within the Suncadia community. With attention-to-detail, the inspector will ensure that all jobsites are maintained in accordance with the Construction Guidelines and community standards. The typical full-time position will consist of 20 to 30 hours preforming on site-inspection with the remaining time in the office. Salary Range: $25.00/hour - $27.00/hour Why join our team? Requirements

  • Professional communication skills (written, phone, verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level
  • Ability to take initiative with minimal direction
  • Understanding of or previous experience in the construction industry
  • Assertive but friendly demeanor
  • Ability to pay close attention to details
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Position will require a driver's history check

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor homes under construction and enforce non-compliance consistently.
  • Notify builders/owners of non- compliance and follow through with resolution.
  • Prepare daily inspection and DRC Stat reports.
  • May also preform final inspection on complete homes and landscaping.
  • Inspect for and enforce Dark Sky Compliance on existing homes. (This will require occasional evening hrs.)
  • Effectively interact and c reate strong relationships with General Contractors and their subs.
  • May assist with other DRC related tasks as requested.
