The Civil Project Engineer provides engineering support across renewable energy projects in Australia, supporting the delivery of civil construction works including roads, foundations, drainage, and associated infrastructure. The role involves coordination of contractors, interpretation of design documentation, and support to construction delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, environmental approvals, and contractual requirements. The position requires the application of sound engineering judgement to assess construction methodologies, resolve site-based technical issues, and contribute to risk mitigation and engineering assurance processes. This includes supporting the verification that constructed works are fit-for-purpose and compliant with design intent. The Project Engineer is expected to contribute across multiple projects and scopes where required. The role is not limited to a single project assignment, and individuals may be directed by line management to support other projects, packages, or business activities from time to time. Site-based engineers are part of the broader delivery team and are expected to support site activities as directed by the Project Manager or Site Manager. The role is not limited to a single engineering discipline, and engineers are expected to assist across different areas of the project where needed to support delivery, safety and coordination on site.
