About The Position

The construction civil lead is responsible for assisting with providing direction and coordinating activities relating to civil tasks or projects at all facilities. This role requires a proactive, positive approach to safety, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency, the ability to coach and mentor others, and the highest standards for personal and professional ethics, leading by example. This position is in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Outstanding safety record
Good verbal and communication skills
Attention to detail in all areas
Ability to grasp concepts easily
Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed
Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience
Operate equipment such as an excavator, dozer, dump truck, and forklift
Knowledge of concrete pours, grading, and site preparation
Proactive, positive approach to safety of him/herself and others
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including conflict resolution
Self-motivation and strong work ethic
Sense of urgency to prepare and complete tasks
Savvy, knowledge, and personality to coach/mentor others
Assertiveness in communications to positively influence others
Highest standards for personal and professional ethics

Nice To Haves

Have knowledge of all phases of carpentry work, such as, layouts, forming, blueprint reading, dry wall, trim, doors, cabinets, and painting
Have knowledge in the use of all power tools
Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment a plus
