About The Position

RQ Construction is seeking experienced Assistant Project Managers (APM) to join our Field Operations team supporting commercial construction projects throughout Georgia and Florida. As an APM, you'll help drive projects from planning through completion by coordinating schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and day-to-day construction activities. You may support a Project Manager on larger projects or take ownership of smaller projects and scopes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of construction industry experience, with at least 1 year as a Project Engineer preferred/required
• Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
• CPR, First Aid & OSHA 30 certifications (training available)
• All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Primavera, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is a plus
• LEED GA or QCM certification is a plus
