About The Position

This is an evergreen requisition, meaning we are building a pipeline of skilled candidates as new opportunities arise. This position requires extensive travel, with assignments lasting multiple weeks at a time. Daily per diem and hotel accommodations are provided during travel. If your experience aligns with our needs, our team will reach out as positions become available. You will support construction projects through hands-on work in the field and equipment operation. This position plays a critical role in the successful completion of corrosion control projects.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices and protocols.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to travel for multiple weeks at a time.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a construction assistant, equipment operator, or laborer.
Familiarity with construction equipment and tools.
OSHA 10 certification or higher.
Basic mechanical skills.
Experience operating equipment (backhoe, trencher, mini-excavator, auger, and forklift).
Experience in the corrosion control industry.

Responsibilities

Assist construction crews with loading and unloading materials, setting up equipment, and performing general labor tasks.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to vehicle operation and construction site activities.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate deliveries, schedules, and on-site support tasks.
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes
Help clean and organize trucks and warehouse areas
