About The Position

Remington College is seeking an exceptional Construction and Building Maintenance Instructor. This is a part-time position for a dedicated and enthusiastic construction and building maintenance professional who is ready to make a difference by educating students eager to train in construction and building maintenance. Remington College is a non-profit/non-traditional institution with high ethical standards, fostering a culture where you can make a difference.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experienced in electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, small appliance maintenance, drywall and carpentry repairs, and plumbing maintenance.
• At least three (3) years of experience in construction and building maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree or higher in construction and building maintenance, HVAC, business, the physical sciences, or a related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty.
• Keep up to date with and effectively use technology and media in the classroom.
• Track student attendance and post assignment feedback in a timely manner.
• Attend faculty/staff and in-service meetings.
• Implement and adhere to all school policies.
• Participate in graduation ceremonies.
• Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned.
