About The Position

Davenergy Solutions is seeking an onsite, full-time Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to support Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrades at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of construction practices, project management, and regulatory compliance within a medical facility environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for construction administration and oversight, ensuring project requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly understand and master the requirements of local, state, and federal jurisdictions and the requirements of each as they relate to the project.
  • Possess communication, language, and software skills with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.
  • Possess a working knowledge of construction practices and call upon this knowledge to assist in implementing various project plans including Quality Assurance (QA), Safety, Schedule, Cost, and Change & Information Management.
  • Familiarity with site operations of a General Contractor and Subcontractors and the process of managing a building construction operation.
  • Working experience monitoring construction activities for Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Experience preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the Contractor’s work relative to construction documents.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training (to be completed within contract timeframes).
  • VA Cyber Security Awareness Training (to be completed within contract timeframes).
  • VA Privacy Awareness Training (to be completed within contract timeframes).
  • VA IT Training for operation of VA systems (e.g., TRIRIGA), as applicable (to be completed within contract timeframes).

Nice To Haves

  • A degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Extensive construction experience and other credentials for consideration.
  • Expertise in the requested discipline evidenced by extensive experience and qualifications.
  • Identification of work experience and completed projects in credentials to show competency to undertake a rigorous program in construction in all identified task order scope of work required solicitation.
  • Presentation of three projects of the scale and difficulty at which the individual held a similar position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide construction administration and oversight in support of EHRM projects at an active medical facility.
  • Offer administration oversight and evaluation concerning all construction disciplines as they pertain to project work.
  • Assist with project management, project engineering, planning, scheduling, constructability reviews, code compliance, testing, record keeping, quality control, cost control, and general oversight of EHRM construction projects.
  • Conduct site inspections, prepare daily logs, and document work progress, quality issues, and compliance.
  • Assist with submittal reviews, RFIs, progress meetings, contractor pay application reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Determine documentation needs based on engineering risk assessments that could impact patient care or facility operations.
