About The Position

The Conservation Specialist will work with producers to analyze current agronomic practices and provide recommendations for improvement that align with their operations. This role involves documenting and uploading agronomic data, reporting on sustainable outcomes, and traveling to various locations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Crop Science or a related field, a valid passport and driver's license, and experience with a certified agronomic retailer. The specialist will use Microsoft Office programs and messaging apps, and must be able to travel across the US Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Crop Science or closely related field
Valid passport and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Achieve and maintain the General Certified Crop Advisor Certification
Two to three years’ experience with a certified agronomic retailer
Willingness to travel to facilities across the US Northern Plains and Canadian Prairies
Knowledgeable of computer operations; able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong analytical skillset
Capable of writing and orally presenting reports to all levels of management internally and external Customers

Responsibilities

Perform job tasks in compliance with Bartlett safety programs and procedures
Work with producers to analyze current agronomic practices and knowledgeably provide recommendations for improvement that best align with their operation
Document and upload agronomic data into certified third-party quantification online platforms
Report on sustainable outcomes to all levels of management and external Customers, while providing recommendations for continuous improvement
Help with other program responsibilities as necessary
