About The Position

This is a business-to-business sales position responsible for finding new sales avenues and managing existing accounts. The role focuses on the specific market of multi-story building construction (high-rise/low-rise buildings), custom residences, independent developers/designers, and renovation companies, through the commercial sales channels of Brick / Midnorthern Appliance. You will join a proactive, high-caliber sales team focused on customer experience and solution-finding. You will work towards sales consulting KPIs while understanding the needs of potential/existing clients, including helping them identify long-term needs, to ensure their satisfaction before, during, and after the sale. This role involves selling products and services, building long-term relationships with clients, solving their problems, and acting as a trusted consultant.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-70% in Quebec.
  • Post-secondary education in business or marketing with a minimum of 3 years of business-to-business sales and customer service experience, OR a minimum of 5 years of business-to-business sales and customer service experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Clear understanding of "true sales skills," going beyond simple product sales or order taking.
  • Proven time management and customer service skills.
  • Must have a "growth mindset" and "take ownership" attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supplying products and/or services in the multi-residential unit construction sector is an asset.
  • Knowledge of account management and the ability to develop and implement strategies in the designated territory to achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek new sales opportunities and create new accounts.
  • Organize time effectively to develop external sales and meet with clients (real estate developers looking for major appliances) in one of our commercial design centers.
  • Improve relationships with current accounts to identify and secure future sales opportunities.
  • Assist senior management with major accounts and conduct on-site visits as needed.
  • Provide quotes to clients quickly and ensure the accuracy of communicated details.
  • Provide product specifications and generate quotes based on projects.
  • Make necessary arrangements for warranties, financing, deliveries, and installations, if required.
  • Maintain a record of prospects and key accounts in Salesforce.
  • Achieve performance objectives and growth plans in collaboration with the Quebec Commercial Sales Management.
  • Liaise with the Commercial Sales Customer Service team to deliver exceptional service and a first-class experience to our clients.
