About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Advisor to support the Ville de Québec in the design, deployment, and optimization of its cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or others). The selected candidate will play a key role in cloud migration and the adoption of DevOps best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure administration, including 3 years in cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Proficiency in Azure (or AWS/GCP): virtual machines, networks, storage, security.
Experience with DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless (Functions, Lambda).
Understanding of cloud security issues (Zero Trust, IAM, etc.).

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification (an asset).

Responsibilities

Design and deploy cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in alignment with the City's needs.
Migrate applications and data to the cloud, minimizing downtime.
Optimize cloud environment costs and performance.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates, etc.).
Collaborate with security teams to implement protection measures (e.g., encryption, RBAC, private networks).
Ensure high availability and resilience of cloud services.
Document architectures, procedures, and best practices.
Train internal teams on cloud tools and processes.
