About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a Geomatics Advisor with solid experience in their field of expertise to contribute to structuring technological projects for public and private organizations.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in geomatics, geography, computer science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in geomatics, including 2 years in GIS consulting or architecture.
Proficiency in GIS platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, QGIS Server).
Experience in geospatial application development (JavaScript, Python, .NET).
Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server Spatial).
Understanding of interoperability issues (OGC standards, REST API).

Nice To Haves

Hold certifications: Esri Certified (ArcGIS Enterprise), or equivalent (an asset).
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and ability to manage complex projects.
Innovative spirit and solutions-oriented.
Rigor and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills in French.

Responsibilities

Advise business teams on best practices in geomatics.
Design GIS architectures and spatial data management solutions.
Develop mapping applications (web or mobile) using technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
Integrate geospatial data with other information systems (e.g., ERP, databases).
Optimize GIS system performance and ensure their scalability.
Participate in migration to cloud solutions (e.g., ArcGIS Online, AWS Location Service).
Document architectures, procedures, and best practices.
Train and support users in the use of GIS tools.
