About The Position

This job is responsible for leading a group of team leaders and employees who develop strategies and drive analytics to understand portfolio risk, increase profitability, and optimize operational performance. Key responsibilities include setting strategic priorities for the team, identifying trends, and leading efforts to maximize risk versus return for the business unit. Job expectations include using data and analytics to solve complex problems, coaching employees, and partnering across technology, product, and risk leadership to drive performance. Leads a team of developers responsible for delivering reporting and analytics enablement solutions supporting Specialized Servicing & Fulfillment Operations. Drives team performance, ensures adherence to risk and control standards, and oversees delivery across a variety of tools including Python, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx. Owns end-to-end execution of analytics and reporting initiatives, including prioritization, project health monitoring, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Partners across Reporting, Analytics, Risk, and Product organizations to align deliverables with enterprise priorities and business needs. Identifies opportunities to enhance collaboration, improve delivery efficiency, and strengthen analytics capabilities across the organization. Leads and develops a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management to drive individual and team success. Oversees delivery of reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines, and quality expectations. Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team output, operational effectiveness, and process efficiency. Identifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence across reporting and analytics workflows. Ensures adherence to bank and regulatory policies, fostering a strong risk and control environment. Partners with stakeholders across Reporting, Analytics, Risk, and Product teams to align priorities, influence decisions, and deliver against strategic initiatives. Aligns team objectives to enterprise and SSFO priorities, translating strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous leadership or people management experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and develop talent
  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience driving operational excellence initiatives, including process improvement and productivity enhancement
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, and performance metrics, with ability to guide technical solution design and evaluate output quality
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and modern analytics tools
  • Ability to contribute to and review analytical work, including querying data, interpreting results, and validating outputs
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools with ability to review, challenge, and guide development (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar)
  • Understanding of workflow management, SLAs, and operational reporting
  • Ability to translate data insights into business actions and influence decision-making
  • Ability to contribute hands-on to reporting and analytics solutions as needed, while primarily focusing on team leadership and delivery

Responsibilities

  • Establishes department-wide strategies and oversees portfolio trend analysis, forecasting, and risk/control performance
