The SSFO Data Strategy and Analytics team is seeking a highly technical and analytically driven individual to join our team as a Consumer Product Strategic Analyst IV, supporting advanced analytics and reporting initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years financial industry experience
• 2+ years of experience using SAS or SQL
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Strong communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
• Understanding of workflow, SLAs, and operational performance metrics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in workforce optimization
• Experience partnering with FLU and cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail with ability to tell a clear story with data
• Strong critical thinking
• Strong hands-on proficiency expected in several of the following: SQL (query optimization, data modeling, controls), Tableau (dashboard development, governance, performance optimization), Alteryx (workflow development, server scheduling, governance), Python (data processing, packaging, testing, reproducibility), PowerQuery, Data visualization and storytelling techniques, Experience building scalable reporting and analytics solutions, Experience supporting centralized reporting environments, data governance, or control frameworks, JavaScript, PowerShell, Copilot GitHub

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced analytics on financial, market, and portfolio data to identify opportunities to improve risk, profitability, and operational performance
• Owns end-to-end analytical workstreams, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for business partners and senior leadership
• Identifies and communicates key trends based on economic conditions and portfolio performance, enabling proactive decision-making
• Partners with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Product, and Operations, to support and influence strategic initiatives and large-scale programs
• Develops scalable reporting and analytics solutions to support performance monitoring, forecasting, and operational execution
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to peers, serving as a subject matter expert across multiple business and technical domains
• Exhibits leadership presence and critical thinking, effectively communicating solutions, influencing stakeholders while driving scalable, continuous improvement opportunities across SSFO organization.
