About The Position

Join a global power technology organization focused on improving the reliability, performance, and uptime of connected equipment. This role supports a growing digital solutions organization responsible for expanding connected fleet capabilities and improving the operational experience for customers using remote monitoring and telematics technologies. The environment is highly cross-functional, bringing together Digital Solutions, Engineering, Product, Service, IT, Customer Success, and regional teams to solve connectivity challenges and improve how connected assets are monitored at scale.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting telematics, IoT, connected devices, fleet connectivity, networking, digital products, or similar technical environments is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and determine root causes across multiple potential failure points.
  • Experience analyzing operational data, device status, system reports, or connectivity trends to identify abnormalities and recurring problems.
  • Working understanding of how connected devices communicate through networks and cloud-based environments.
  • Ability to differentiate among hardware, software/firmware, network, configuration, installation, power, SIM, and customer-environment issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues methodically rather than simply escalate them.
  • Comfortable coordinating resolution efforts across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills, including the ability to summarize technical findings for business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Organized and proactive approach to tracking issues through resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting customer onboarding, Customer Success operations, process improvement, or technical operations is advantageous.
  • Exposure to automation, monitoring tools, reporting platforms, or connected-equipment analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor fleet connectivity across customer accounts and identify telematics devices that are no longer communicating as expected.
  • Investigate connectivity failures and perform structured root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, networks, device configuration, power, SIM connectivity, installation, and customer infrastructure.
  • Validate communication between telematics hardware, cloud environments, and customer networks.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Service, IT, Customer Success, and regional teams to investigate issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Analyze connectivity trends, recurring failures, and fleet health to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritize incidents based on customer impact, operational importance, and business priorities.
  • Track corrective actions through resolution and provide clear reporting on fleet communication health.
  • Develop executive-level summaries highlighting significant connectivity risks, recurring issues, and operational trends.
  • Support customer onboarding and operational readiness for new connected-fleet deployments.
  • Improve troubleshooting documentation, standardized processes, installation practices, and operational workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate connectivity monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support evolving Customer Success initiatives and cross-functional digital projects as the connected customer base grows.

Benefits

  • W2 only (no C2C/1099)
  • Remote opportunity supporting a global connected-fleet operation.
  • Long-term contract opportunity currently expected to continue through December 2027, with potential for extension.
  • Exposure to digital products, telematics, connected equipment, fleet analytics, and customer-success operations.
  • Opportunity to help establish scalable processes as the connected customer and engine population continues to expand.
