Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI and is singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This role is on the Infrastructure Team, which is working on key problems such as compressing the install time for hundreds of thousands of fiber terminations per building in weeks, ensuring quality through rigorous testing of every link, and scaling a Low Voltage Contractor (LVC) workforce rapidly. The team operates with a philosophy of full autonomy, insane urgency, reasoning from first principles, and a passion for building something that matters. This role is responsible for owning the full lifecycle of physical installation projects, including coordinating LVC schedules, running quality assurance on contractor work, and ensuring installations meet design standards, safety codes, and labeling policies. The Connectivity Engineer will serve as the primary on-site technical point of contact for the Low Voltage Contractor and internal engineering teams, acting as remote hands during deployment and validation. They will manage the LVC deployment schedule, coordinate access and material delivery, and report progress. The role involves conducting multi-stage QA inspections on various aspects of the installation and performing or overseeing optical loss testing and copper integrity verification. The engineer will also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for fiber and structured cabling best practices, generate final reports, and manage project closeout.
