The Everett High School Connections program provides an in-house alternative setting for students to develop and maintain academic, social, and emotional progress. The program aims to help students develop coping strategies for eventual reintegration into general education classrooms, enabling them to graduate with the skills necessary for post-secondary education and career opportunities. The Connections Program utilizes a three-pronged approach: Academic, Therapeutic, and Behavioral. The Teacher promotes a positive learning environment and delivers instruction to students (grades 9-12) whose educational needs are primarily the result of significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The teacher is responsible for assessing each student's individual academic and behavioral needs.
