About The Position

The Sloan Creek Connections Pastor is responsible for inspiring individuals and families at Chase Oaks Sloan Creek to take their next steps in faith. This role oversees and leads ministry teams in New Guests, Weekend Experience, and Care, while also supporting Groups and Outreach Ministries. The pastor trains, encourages, and supports team leaders, collaborating with Chase Oaks staff and other campuses to ensure effective, integrated ministry. This position is key in leadership development and may involve hosting weekend services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding the Chase Oaks ministry environment.
  • High attention to customer service.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Data entry skill & experience; Familiarity with databases.
  • Lifting 30-50 pounds is an occasional but essential requirement.
  • Must be a Christ-follower whose work history and lifestyle shows consistency in adhering to scriptural principles.
  • Agree with the Purpose, Strategy, and DNA statements of Chase Oaks.
  • Be "All – In" and committed to the local body of Christ at Chase Oaks Church in worship, groups, service, and giving.

Responsibilities

  • Offer support and training to team leaders in New Guests, Weekend Experience, Groups, and Care.
  • Engage and develop new leaders to expand ministry impact.
  • Shape ministry plans and ensure effective execution aligned with Chase Oaks' DNA.
  • Facilitate strategic planning, operations, process, team building, and quality management for ministries.
  • Stay in sync with other Chase Oaks campuses, connecting leaders and communicating with staff.
  • Provide upfront leadership at the campus, including hosting services, speaking, trainings, and baptisms.
  • Serve and connect with team members, parents, and kids during weekend services and campus events.
  • Participate in campus and Core Team meetings, assisting the SC Campus Pastor with overall campus direction.
  • Perform sacerdotal functions such as weddings, funerals, communion, and baptisms.
  • Regularly attend staff and pastoral meetings and leadership development opportunities.
  • Assist other ministries and pastors with projects or specific assignments.
  • Pursue an active, growing relationship with Christ.
