CONFORM R&D Program Representative
About The Position
The Concept Formulation (CONFORM) team oversees EB’s concept development work which includes leading SSN(X) and program insertion studies, research and development (R&D) efforts, outreach, payload integration, and warfare analysis. The R&D efforts of CONFORM include internally and externally funded R&D, university research collaborations, and small business collaboration to identify and develop new technologies that are consumable by the submarine fleet. This program representative position will involve portfolio management and integration in one or more of the following areas: independent research and development (IR&D), contracted R&D (CR&D), National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT), small business innovation research (SBIR), and other R&D groups at EB. Work will be performed in close coordination with the other CONFORM areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- A minimum of two years post-graduate engineering experience or program office experience working with external stakeholders or project management experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Responsibilities
