The Conflicts Researcher is responsible for researching potential conflicts of interest as a key component of the law firm’s new business intake and lateral hiring processes. This role involves performing quality control reviews of client/matter intake, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to policies. The researcher will conduct conflict of interest searches using Intapp, analyze reports to identify and resolve false positives, and perform factual research using internal and external resources. Collaboration with the ICS team and Office of General Counsel is essential for conflict resolution. The position also includes database maintenance, data entry, and special projects, with an emphasis on continuous skill development and staying updated on legal industry trends and rules regarding conflicts of interest.
