About The Position

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join the Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. The role reviews and analyzes conflicts check reports for new firm matters, lateral attorney hires, and legal support staff hires. The Conflicts Attorney identifies potential conflicts issues and works with firm attorneys and staff to resolve and clear conflicts of interest. The conflicts resolution process is supported by Aderant Expert software. There is no billable-hour requirement. The position is hybrid, with fully remote opportunities available. The salary range is USD $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in good standing with any state bar.
At least three years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm environment.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
High attention to detail; self-motivated and collaborative; able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of cumulative experience conducting lateral hire conflicts checks.
Experience with Aderant Expert; preferred but not required.
