About The Position

Hill Ward Henderson is an AV rated firm that offers sophisticated clients, challenging work, a friendly, collegial work environment and excellent compensation and benefits. The Firm is currently seeking candidates for a full-time position in our Accounting Department.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of administrative, accounting, legal support, or data management experience preferred.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Aderant or other legal accounting software is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review conflict searches for new clients and matters.
  • Open new clients and matters within the firm’s accounting system.
  • Maintain accurate client and matter records.
  • Review submitted information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate with attorneys and staff to obtain missing or additional information when needed.
  • Assist with department projects and provide backup support for accounting.
