About The Position

Commercial Onboarding and Servicing (COS) is an organization focused on delivering the highest level of service and support to KeyBank Commercial Clients. Within COS, the Onboarding Group is dedicated to providing post-sales solutioning, project management, implementation, and training to those commercial clients establishing new relationships with KeyBank or adding new services to existing relationships. This pivotal stage in the client lifecycle sets the initial impression of what a relationship with KeyBank will be like, and is critical to a client’s decision to expand their KeyBank relationship with additional products and services. The Vendor Configuration Specialists serve as the main contact and project manager from KeyBank to lead clients and vendor partners through the post-sales experience to ensure clients are quickly and effectively using KeyBank’s products and services. Onboarding events can range in product and process complexity, can vary by clients’ needs, and can span from small to large corporations. Our Commercial Card Configuration Specialists support the implementation for client Distributed Card, Travel and Expense, and virtual Accounts Payables Automation solutions incorporating card payment components, requiring partnership and integration with a variety of travel platforms, accounting software, HR solutions, and vendor payment portals and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in client facing roles such as configuration, implementations, project execution, client delivery management, or similar industry role.
  • Banking, financial services or similar industry experience with treasury product experience required
  • Possess strong project management (i.e. Handles projects of moderate to high complexity, potentially leading multiple projects simultaneously)
  • Demonstrate solution-oriented and critical thinking skills
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication with demonstrated professional application.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client facing skills, driving an exceptional client experience
  • Self-directed and decisive, with a strong track record of working independently
  • Ability to participate effectively in a highly collaborative work team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle difficult situations while maintaining strong personal relationships
  • Detail oriented and ability to follow through
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment and willingness to strive toward achieving company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings with stakeholders (Business Development, Clients, Operations, etc.); Maintain focus on agenda topics, identify action items and outstanding issues, and clearly identify responsibility and timelines for completing required tasks
  • Use client facing artifacts, tools and resources to provide consistent documentation of progress status, priorities and risks for onboarding projects (i.e. project plans, email templates, client facing summaries, etc.)
  • Maintain accuracy of internal data and records in Salesforce and other systems for clear transparency and visibility by stakeholders and leadership, and stewardship of data for metrics and performance management
  • Engage subject matter experts to aid in brainstorming
  • Clearly and succinctly communicates in written and verbal mediums
  • Timely response to client, leader, and partner requests or inquiries
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate mutual understanding and respect in completion of Onboarding Opportunities
  • Build knowledge about assigned solution, industry applications, and related systems that interact with assigned solutions.
  • Build knowledge & awareness in complementary solutions, their interaction with assigned solutions and how they support client's operational objectives
  • Demonstrate expertise in problem solving client solutions and configurations to meet strategic or operational needs
  • Contribute to development and improvement of Project Management tools, artifacts and resources
  • Contribute to development, problem solving and improvement of processes, procedures and knowledge resources related to your assigned solution
  • Demonstrate collaborative, continuous improvement mindset to reduce friction points in processes and relationships

Benefits

  • This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually.
  • Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
