About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Configuration Analyst Senior to make meaningful contributions to critical government, defense, and intelligence projects. This role will provide overall configuration management infrastructure and environment to the USAREUR-AF G6 Joint Coalition Network Division. The Configuration Manager (CM) will ensure the CM environment facilitates product review, change and defect tracking activities. This role includes writing the CM plan and reporting progress based on change requests, understanding configuration management principles, and preferably having experience or training in the use of CM tools. This role is responsible for the execution of the process which includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits, and managing the process improvement cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
  • Management of hardware and software configuration management across enterprise-level systems.
  • Leading Change Control Boards (CCBs).
  • Experience with Agile development environments and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) methodologies.
  • SECRET security clearance.
  • Ability to pass German TESA.
  • ITIL Foundation (required within 90 days of start date).
  • Security+CE (required to start).
  • 5 + years of related experience.
  • US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT service management, configuration management, and change control processes for enterprise IT services.
  • Collaborate with USAREUR-AF G6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, NATO members and agencies and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
  • Drive configuration management and change control processes that protect technical baselines and service continuity.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
