About The Position

Concept Plus is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) / Documentation Specialist to support Air Force IT systems development and operations. This role requires knowledge and understanding of Air Force IT processes and technology stack, including DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, Cloud One environments, Oracle-based systems, and Java application stacks. Air Force systems are deployed in both classified and unclassified DISA and cloud environments, requiring strong adherence to DoD configuration management, documentation, and compliance standards. The CM / Documentation Specialist provides critical support in establishing and maintaining configuration baselines, controlling system changes, and ensuring documentation accuracy and traceability to support modernization and enhancement of Air Force systems. This role serves as a key interface with the customer and the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring that configuration items, documentation artifacts, and change management activities align with program requirements, governance processes, and mission needs. The CM / Documentation Specialist works across capability delivery teams—including development Scrums, Cloud Engineering, and DevSecOps platform resources—to maintain end-end traceability across requirements, changes, and deployments. The role supports Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes, version control practices, and documentation governance, ensuring all system updates are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and auditable throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle.
