Cone Line Labor (1st Shift) Humboldt Plant
About The Position
The Cone Line Labor position at the Humboldt Plant on the 1st Shift involves several key responsibilities related to poultry processing. These include the roles of Breast Puller, Tender Clipper, and Tender Scorer. As a Breast Puller, you will remove breast fillets from poultry using the cone line process, separating muscle from bone and placing fillets on the conveyor. As a Tender Clipper, you will pick up tenders, clip them with scissors, and place them into a tote. As a Tender Scorer, you will accurately score and separate the breast tenderloin from the breast shell. All roles require adherence to Tyson Foods' safety, quality, and operational standards, as well as maintaining awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents.

Responsibilities
- Remove breast fillets from poultry using the cone line process, grasping fillets, separating muscle from bone, and placing fillets onto the conveyor system.
- Pick tenders up from conveyor belt two at a time, clip the tenders with scissors, and place finished product into tote.
- Accurately score and separate the breast tenderloin from the breast shell.
- Follow all Tyson Foods safety policies and procedures.
- Never reach into moving equipment or cone line mechanisms.
- Ensure equipment is stopped before clearing jams; use proper tools.
- Wear hearing protection in high noise areas.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
- Use handrails when navigating stairs and walkways.
