About The Position

The Condition Monitor Inspector is responsible for the French Fry Plant processing/packaging equipment, Wastewater Treatment equipment, and Boiler equipment. This role involves executing condition inspections, performing rebuilds of pumps, motors, and valves, and identifying, detecting, and documenting potential maintenance repair problems. The inspector will prioritize identified repair problems, manage the overall condition inspection program by reviewing and re-developing inspection content and frequency, and use vibration analysis tools to assess equipment condition. Effective verbal communication of emergency/urgent repair problems and the benefits of condition inspections is also a key responsibility. The role requires obtaining further training within the area of trade specialty.

Requirements

  • Industrial Mechanic / Millwright License.
  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated mechanical experience.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
  • A self-motivated individual having good organizing and coordinating skills with a proven track record.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Effective Verbal and Written communication skills are essential.
  • Open, willing and capable of obtaining training within area of trade specialty.
  • Observant and detailed minded.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and CMMS system.
  • Solid understanding of proactive maintenance practices as well as continuous improvement strategies included in the lean manufacturing model.

Nice To Haves

  • A basic knowledge of electrical would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Executing condition inspections on French Fry Plant processing/packaging equipment, Wastewater Treatment equipment, and Boiler equipment.
  • Performing rebuilds of pumps, motors, and valves as required.
  • Identifying, detecting, and documenting all potential maintenance repair problems on the mentioned equipment.
  • Prioritizing identified repair problems to determine when corrective action will be required.
  • Managing the overall condition inspection program, including reviewing, re-evaluating, and re-developing inspection content and frequency.
  • Using vibration analysis tools to assess and quantify equipment condition.
  • Verbally communicating identified Emergency/Urgent repair problems effectively.
  • Communicating the benefits of condition inspections.
  • Taking required Condition Inspection courses to further reliability knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
