About The Position

This role involves selling concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events. The Condiments Attendant will serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner, resolving customer complaints and ensuring accurate sales transactions. This position is responsible for cash handling, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to sell concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events.
• Ability to serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Ability to interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ability to perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
• Ability to enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Ability to make change, accept acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers.
• Ability to follow standard procedures for cash handling.
• Ability to be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Ability to replenish condiments and general supplies.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of concession area.
• Ability to ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts acceptable forms of payment and issues receipts to customers. Follows standard procedures for cash handling.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Performs other duties such as replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness concession area.
• Ensures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
