About The Position

Kienstra Ready Mix Concrete, located in St. Louis, MO and the surrounding metropolitan area, has an opening for a Full Time Concrete Dispatcher. Concrete Dispatchers for our company assist construction contractors with ordering quality ready mix concrete and route mixer trucks from our plant locations. Our dispatchers work together as a team to ensure our customers are provided excellent service. The work is challenging and will require you to be comfortable handling and resolving customer issues and problems with diplomacy and professionalism.

Requirements

Prior experience in the concrete and construction industry assisting customers with product orders
Reliable means to arrive to work as scheduled
High school education or higher
Good communication skills and a great attitude
Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of customers and company employees
Ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment
Outgoing and reliable
Good computer skills
Detailed oriented
Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with concrete applications and mix designs
Ability to assist customers with calculating material quantities for orders
Logistics experience routing trucks
Comprehensive knowledge of the streets of the St. Louis Regional areas

Responsibilities
