About The Position
Walsh is seeking a Project Superintendent for its Building Self Perform team at the DFW Terminal F project in Dallas, Texas. The role oversees field operations and is responsible for carrying out the project safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards. Walsh describes itself as a fourth-generation, family-owned, fast-growing company that combines a small-company feel with the backing of a large company and a focus on technology. The role may be eligible for a bonus and other benefits. Specific roles may require relocation.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 6 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall field operations.
- Create and manage the project schedule.
- Coordinate subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Establish budgets and control costs.
- Identify causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances.
- Identify project risks and work to mitigate them.
- Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor.
- Conduct systematic quality control inspections.
- Follow the company safety program, applicable laws, and OSHA operating standards.
- Manage jobsite cleanliness.
- Prepare daily time cards for personnel under supervision.
- Prepare daily logs.
