About The Position
Firma Concrete is a growing division of Firma Contracting, delivering high level concrete and civil scopes across Edmonton and surrounding areas. We work on major infrastructure, commercial, and structural projects and are building a team that takes pride in quality, execution, and leadership. We are looking for a driven and experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in concrete construction
- Proven leadership as a Superintendent or General Foreman
- Strong understanding of formwork systems, placement, and finishing
- Ability to run large scale pours and coordinate logistics
- Solid communication and problem solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple crews across active job sites
- Coordinate daily concrete operations including formwork, placement, and finishing
- Work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
- Maintain schedule, productivity, and quality control
- Enforce safety standards and lead by example on site
- Review drawings, plan work, and solve field challenges proactively
- Track manpower, materials, and equipment usage
