About The Position

Sticks and Stones, a division of the RMC Group of Companies, provides quality driveway sealing and surface protection services to residential and commercial customers across the Edmonton area. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Concrete Sealing Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning service schedules, preparing surfaces, and applying driveway sealant to a high standard of quality. You'll work outdoors, travel between job sites, and often be the face of our company with customers — so pride in your work and a professional attitude matter to us as much as technical skill.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work environment.
  • Safety conscious mind-set.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sealcoating, paving, landscaping, painting, or general construction is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare driveways and surfaces for sealing, including cleaning, degreasing, and filling cracks.
  • Plan and schedule travel routes and projects daily based on incoming orders and customer needs.
  • Apply sealant products evenly and efficiently using sprayers, squeegees, and brushes.
  • Operate and maintain application equipment and keep the work vehicle organized and stocked.
  • Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout the Edmonton area.
  • Interact professionally with customers on site, answering basic questions about the work.
  • Maintain good customer relations and ensuring high degree of customer service.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including safe handling of sealant products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck and tools.
  • Communicate and order sealant, including monitoring inventory levels.
  • Complete job documentation and report any site issues to your supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
