About The Position
Buffalo Ridge Concrete is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Concrete Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver materials safely and efficiently to local residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction sites. Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air brake endorsement and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs., climb truck ladders, pull extension chutes, and work outside in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a mandatory Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular attendance and reliability are a critical factor of employment at Buffalo Ridge Concrete.
Nice To Haves
- Prior ready-mix or heavy equipment operating experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maneuver heavy trucks with auxiliary concrete mixers safely to customers as assigned.
- Perform standard daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Attach extension chutes and wash down the truck mixer after discharge.
- Communicate professionally with on-site contractors and dispatchers.
