Requirements

  • Education: less than High School Diploma.
  • Experience: three or more years related construction experience preferred.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
  • Ability to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America to qualify for employment with the Company.
  • Candidates who are identified and selected for a position are required to complete and pass a drug screen to be considered for employment with Webber.
  • Candidates who are identified and selected for a field position are required to complete and pass a medical exam to ensure physical and/or mental capacity to complete the tasks required by the job.
  • Some positions require completion of a background check, which may include Employment History Verification, County and Federal Searches for felonies and misdemeanors, SSN Address Trace, and/or National Criminal/Sex and Violent Offender Search.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a stationary or portable batching scale that weighs out concrete materials.
  • Adjusts scales for required weight of the materials.
  • Operates controls that admit materials separately from storage hoppers to weighing bins.
  • Observes scales or indicators.
  • Discharges materials from concrete plant or pugmill into truck or other carrier or mixer.
  • May operate all equipment necessary to support batching operations.
  • May oil, grease or otherwise including welding.
  • May measure materials by volume or weight.
  • May perform quality control and assurance.
  • Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
