About The Position

The Concrete Mixer Driver Operator is responsible for operating equipment in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations, as well as company processes, to safely provide quality concrete to customers. This role involves performing necessary cleaning and maintenance of the Mixer Truck to ensure reliable and on-time operation. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and inspection reports (DVIR).
• Deliver high-quality concrete safely and on time.
• Work closely with dispatch, plant teams, and quality personnel.
• Maintain and clean the assigned truck.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation.
• Provide professional, reliable service to customers at every stop.
• Possess a valid NC CDL Class A or B license.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Pass a criminal background and Clearinghouse checks.
• Demonstrate a strong safety record and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and access truck equipment.
• Ability to sit, stand, and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Ability to use hands and arms for vehicle operation and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with all regulations, including DOT regulations (Pre-Trip, Post Trip, DVIR).
• Maintain safety awareness, wear all PPE consistently, and perform all tasks in a safe manner.
• Produce quality product during mixing and delivery, ensuring compliance with work instructions and monitoring quality.
• Comply with all data reporting requirements, completing documents accurately and reporting non-standard conditions.
• Perform plant and driver maintenance activities, including maintenance on Mixer Trucks and reporting issues.
• Present a professional image by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and procedures.
