About The Position

LaRiviere Inc. is looking for entry level concrete laborers and experienced concrete finishers. We are willing to train the right people for the laborer positions. Duties will include forming and finishing curb, sidewalk, and slabs, with some bridge and structural work also involved. Pay is dependent on experience and work history. Most jobs are local in the North Idaho / Spokane region, but some regional travel may be required depending on projects.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to access ground level surfaces
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects
• Ability to move heavy materials and tools from one location to another
• Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction safety standards
• Ability to use common tools, such as trowels, screeds, floats, mixers and saws
• Understanding of how concrete cures and how environmental conditions may impact the process
• Analytical skills to interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Basic arithmetic skills to perform measurements
