About The Position
Rose Paving LLC, a leader in parking lot management solutions nationwide, is seeking a Concrete Laborer. This role involves assisting with concrete construction tasks such as mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing. The Concrete Laborer will operate equipment and tools to prepare surfaces, pour concrete, and ensure quality control, working closely with other construction workers to complete tasks safely and efficiently according to project specifications.
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials, standing, kneeling, bending, and operating equipment.
- Previous experience in construction or working with concrete is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete on floors, foundations, sidewalks, and other structures.
- Ensure proper surface preparation by setting forms, leveling, and grading work areas.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as wheelbarrows, concrete mixers, floats, trowels, and screeds to finish surfaces.
- Help with smoothing and finishing the surface of poured concrete using finishing tools, hand or power trowels.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, tools, and unused materials.
