About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise our concrete crew. This role involves overseeing all aspects of concrete work, from excavation and forming to finishing and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial concrete construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience preferred.
Previous concrete crew leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placement, finishing, reinforcement, and layout.
Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
Understanding of construction sequencing, elevations, grades, and tolerances.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license preferred.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise concrete crew performing excavating, forming, reinforcing, placing, finishing, and related concrete work.
Plan daily work activities and assign crew members based on project needs.
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, elevations, and layout information.
Coordinate concrete pours, manpower, equipment, materials, and deliveries.
Verify forms, reinforcing steel, embeds, anchor bolts, and elevations prior to placement.
Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
Maintain high standards for concrete quality and workmanship.
Communicate effectively with project superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
Identify field issues and assist with developing practical solutions.
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Conduct daily safety tool box talks and ensure proper PPE is used.
Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower information, and production documentation as required.
Operate construction equipment and tools when necessary.
Train and mentor crew members and promote teamwork.
