About The Position

J+M Infrastructure is a rapidly growing Civil, Site & Utilities Contractor that excels in Civil Construction and Site Development with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer and storm drainage throughout central and southwest Virginia. We are focused on building a team of dynamic, motivated individuals who are more than just employees but valued and respected team players. People are our priority! We are experiencing incredible growth with multi-year projects now underway. We are currently seeking Concrete Finishers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required
• Must have own transportation to job sites
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must work safely
• Willing to work occasional overtime on Saturdays
• Must pass drug test/screening

Nice To Haves

• Experience installing concrete curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement and stairs
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Possess a positive can-do attitude
• Willing to get hands dirty, and do whatever it takes to get the job done
• 4 years experience is preferred
• CDL preferred but not required
• Concrete experience is a plus
• Shooting and reading grades is a plus
• Equipment operating is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set form boards for concrete pours
• Set reinforcement
• Level, shape, float and finish concrete
