Requirements

Experience as a Concrete Finisher (Paver).
Willingness to travel amongst several projects within the area.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work extended hours on foot, including on uneven or rough surfaces.
Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crawl, or work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs to specified textures.
Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency.
Level, smooth and shape freshly poured concrete.
Finish concrete surfaces.
Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces and patch holes.
Mold expansion joints and edges.
Sprinkle stone chips, powered steel or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
Produce concrete surface.
Mix cement.
Direct subgrade work, mixing of concrete and setting of forms.
Break up and repair old concrete surfaces.
Calculate amounts of concrete required for each job.
Picture objects from drawings and diagrams.
Compare and see differences in size, shape and form of lines, figures, and objects.
