About The Position

As a Concrete Finisher II in the Public Works/Streets & Bridges division, you will serve as a lead worker in preparation for construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete projects. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience in concrete construction, maintenance, and repair work.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering plans for curb and gutter, sidewalks, and roadways.
Experience planning curb and gutter layout from information from survey grade stakes and cut sheets or closely related experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.
Must possess a State of Virginia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or obtain within 180 days of employment.
Must successfully pass a background check.
