About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc (GTA) is looking for an Entry Level Concrete Field Technician for our office in Wilkes Barre, PA. If you have a background in construction and are looking to take the next step in your career, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Requirements

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs solo and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to perform tasks involving bending, hammering, and other repetitive movements.
• Must have safety toe boots.

Nice To Haves

• Background in construction.
• ACI Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collect fresh samples of concrete and conduct quality control testing to ensure standards are met.
• Transport and log concrete and masonry samples, assisting with lab procedures.
• Be prepared for overnight and weekend shifts.
• Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed field reports and test summaries to track progress and outcomes.
• Engage with contractors, clients, and GTA colleagues to evaluate site conditions and participate in project meetings.
