About The Position
MEMCO is hiring an experienced Concrete Cutting & Coring Technician for a long-term commercial construction project in Cuero, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating concrete cutting and core drilling equipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers long-term stability with a consistent work schedule and the opportunity to work on a major commercial construction project.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of concrete cutting and coring experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Experience operating concrete cutting and core drilling equipment.
- Valid Driver's License (Required).
- Clean Background (Required).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete core drilling for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations.
- Operate concrete cutting equipment, including wall saws, slab saws, hand saws, and core drilling machines.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications.
- Measure and mark cutting locations accurately.
- Inspect and maintain cutting and coring equipment.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and all project-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on-site.
