About The Position

STRUCTURAL is hiring Concrete Technicians to perform structural repair work in the Houston, Texas area and surrounding Gulf Coast areas. The role involves hands-on construction work, including concrete repair and placement, formwork, rebar replacement, coatings, fireproofing, welding, rigging, grouting, and heavy equipment operation. Candidates should bring relevant industrial plant, concrete, rigging, steel, or contractor experience and be willing to travel throughout the Gulf Coast.

Requirements

• Have an active TWIC card or be willing to obtain one.
• Have industrial plant, concrete, rigging, and/or steel experience.
• Be able to wear a respirator.
• Be able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance testing.
• Be willing to travel throughout the Gulf Coast area.
• Have contractor experience, including self-performing, general contractor, or specialty contractor experience.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Basic/Basic Plus Safety Council Training.
• Turnaround/shutdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete repair, demolition, placement, and finishing.
• Perform formwork and carpentry.
• Replace rebar.
• Apply concrete coatings.
• Perform fireproofing work.
• Perform structural steel welding, iron work, and rigging.
• Perform equipment grouting.
• Operate heavy equipment.
