About The Position
Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, and dependable CDL Professional to join our Block Delivery team. This role is responsible for safely delivering concrete block and building materials to customers' job sites via tractor and flatbed trailer with a truck-mounted forklift. The company has been a leading supplier in Florida for over 30 years and prides itself on a family-oriented environment with strong team relationships.
Requirements
- Experience operating a tractor with flatbed trailer
- Experience operating a truck mounted forklift (Moffett)
- Strong navigational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Valid CDL Class A, required
- Driving record that meets company standard
- Required availability: Monday-Saturday; Home Nightly!
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to efficiently transport concrete block to job sites
- Secure load in adherence with DOT standards
- Efficiently off-load product via truck-mounted forklift
- Properly document deliveries and customer tickets
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
- Communicate any needed repairs, safety issues, or customer concerns to the management team
