About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable, hardworking Concrete Batch Operator for a client in Binghamton, New York, that manufactures precast concrete products for bridges, highways, and infrastructure projects. The plant is National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) Certified and an approved NYSDOT and PennDOT supplier. No prior experience is required; hands-on training is provided. This is a full-time, year-round, on-site position.

Requirements

Have mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with industrial equipment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to complete training and pursue industry certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous concrete or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate automated concrete batching systems to produce consistent, high-quality concrete mixes.
Perform concrete quality-control tests, including slump, air content, and strength testing.
Monitor raw materials and assist with inventory and material management.
Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot batching equipment.
Maintain accurate production reports and quality-control records.
Work with production and quality-control teams to meet project specifications and DOT requirements.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
